Support
Stuck on something the docs don't cover? We'll help.
Contact
Use the form below, or email peregrine@developer-guy.com directly — either way, include your store URL and a description of what you're seeing. Screenshots help enormously. We reply within two business days.
Before you write in
- Check the FAQ — the most common issues are covered there.
- If something looks broken, try viewing the storefront in a private/incognito window to rule out cached files.
- Note which template it happens on (homepage, product, collection) and whether it's desktop, mobile, or both.
Support policy
What we cover
- Faults in the theme — anything in Peregrine not working as this documentation describes.
- Setting the theme up — where a setting lives, what it does, and how to achieve a particular layout with the controls provided.
- Compatibility with Shopify itself — if a Shopify change breaks something in the theme, that is ours to fix.
What we don't cover
Not out of unhelpfulness — these are things we can't reliably support without access to code we didn't write:
- Custom code. If you or a developer have edited the theme files, we'll help you identify whether the issue is ours, but we can't debug custom changes. Always duplicate your theme before editing it, so there is a known-good copy to compare against.
- Third-party apps. Apps inject their own code into your storefront. Where an app conflicts with the theme we'll investigate our side and tell you plainly what we find, but the app's own behaviour is its developer's to support.
- Design and build services. Bespoke layout work, custom sections and store setup are outside theme support.
Response times
- General questions and faults: a reply within two business days.
- Critical faults — anything preventing shoppers from browsing or buying — are treated as the priority and fixed as fast as we can, ahead of everything else.
Business days are Monday to Friday, UK time, excluding public holidays.
Updates
Fixes and improvements are released as theme updates. Because Shopify themes don't update in place, you'll need to install the new version and re-apply your settings — the changelog records what changed in each release so you can decide whether an update is worth taking.
